What can you do to help us out?
You can assist Aarid's crew by putting aside all items that need to be packed at the very end, or those items which are not intended to be shipped. It is very important that you separate all personal item, passports, travel documents and tickets that will be travelling with you. These items should be securely put away so that they do not get packed accidentally. It can be very costly to retrieve these types of items once your shipment is packed.
Also, please note that transit insurance will not cover money and or jewelry. You should not include articles such as these in your shipment.
AARID'S CREWS
Your international relocation requires experienced, specially trained packers to ensure that packing and loading takes place correctly. Our crews have been trained to use specially designed packing materials for international transporation that will protect your prized possessions during the move
Aarid's driver is also the crew supervisor. He will ask you about any special instructions you may have. If anything has changed since the time of your original estimate, please advise Aarid's driver so that any corrections can be made. Aarid's driver will ask you to take him around your home so that the crew can decide on the best packing procedures for your shipment.
PROTECTING YOUR POSSESSTIONS
Your household goods will be individually wrapped in our five-ply padded paper before being packed in the appropriate containers be it lift vans or steamship container. Crates can be custom built for items that require extra protection during international shipping. Standard goods will be packed with protective wrapping and specialized cartons.
You can rest assured that Aarid will offer the quality materials and packers in order to protect your shipment during the transit process.
DETAILED LIST- YOUR INVENTORY
Remember to make sure that everything that you want to send has been packed. Aarid's driver will prepare an inventory at the time of packing and loading. This inventory will include brief descriptions of the contents of each carton as well as the wrapped furniture and the condition of same. You will be asked to sign the completed inventory after the packing has been finished. This is an important document and you need to keep your copies as they will be needed during your clearance procedure at your destination.
SHIPMENT TRANSIT SCHEDULE
Aarid will be providing you with all of your shipping details. This will confirm the vessel name or flight number if your shipment moved by air, the estimated time of arrival at port or airport and the name of steamship lines agent at your destination.
