IN HOME SURVEYS
To begin our process our surveyor can come to your home to explain the many services that Aarid offers. Next he will perform a survey of everything in your home that will be moved- pointing out items along the way that can't be moved, such as flammables or items that require special attention such as antique furniture, piano's or liquors.
Your estimate will be based on the volume of goods to be shipped. Accurate estimating depends on the level of detail given to our surveyor during this appointment. The more accurate your details, the more accurate we can be on our estimate.
Make sure that all items are shown in detail, open drawers, cupboards, attics, sheds and garage. Items that are not currently at your home should be described. If you are planning to purchase new items that will need to be included in the move, be sure to tell him that during the survey.
PROTECTING YOUR POSSESSIONS
Though it's unlikely that things will happen, having insurance will give you the security and peace of mind that you may need. Please ask your moving specialist to discuss insurance options with you to ensure that your possessions are protected during the journey.
